A new squeal, thump or grinding sound should be described along with when it occurs. Drum support, drive and motor-related issues can affect how a dryer runs. We inspect the source rather than promising a particular replacement part over the phone.

Airflow matters alongside the appliance
Restricted airflow can contribute to long drying times and overheating. Let us know about recent vent work or a change in drying performance. Appliance diagnosis may identify a vent-related concern; do not assume a dryer repair quote includes a separate duct-cleaning service.
